Camping - Fishing - Golfing -Tubing - Kayaking
Summer in Red Lake Falls is a great place to spend time camping at one of our beautiful City Campgrounds. Try your luck fishing on the Clearwater or Red Lake River. Launch your canoe, kayak, or small fishing boat at the DNR boat launch at Sportman's Park where the two rivers meet. Oak Knolls Golf Club is a nine hole golf course and is described as one of the toughest in northwestern Minnesota. Another attraction is tubing on the Red lake River at Voyageur's View.
Walking - Running - Biking
Red Lake Falls has 3 miles of paved trails enjoyed by people of all ages. In the summer the trails are used for walking, hiking and biking and cross country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter months. On the trail you will cross over two wooden trestle bridges over two different rivers. Bring your camera as you will find beauty in the bluffs and unforgettable scenery along the way.
Ice Skating - Sledding - Snowmobiling
When our paved trails become covered with snow, they welcome skiers and snowmobilers to take in the winter air while enjoying the scenic view on the trails. A splendid place for sledding fun with friends and family is on the hills located behind J.A. Hughes Elementary School. If ice skating is your pleasure, put on your skates and join us at Cardin Hunt ice arena where you can skate for leisure or sport. The ice arena is located at the south side of the Riverside Park.
