Request for Proposals to Purchase the Red Lake Falls Pool

We are seeking proposals to purchase, manage and operate as a Community Pool. The City will consider a transfer of ownership to another entity upon certain terms and conditions. Conditions would include that the pool be used, maintained and operated as a pool that is open to members of the public. There will be a reasonable timeline to make the pool operational and if the land ceases to be used as a pool, the property will revert back to the City of Red Lake Falls.

Please submit proposals to Kathleen Schmitz at City Hall, PO Box 37, Red Lake Falls, Minnesota, by March 1, 2026.  Proposals should include the following:

1. Plan for acquiring ownership of the pool including entity or organization type;
2. Plan for operation of the pool including staffing and maintenance; and
3. Plan to fund the pool operation.

Proposals will be considered and further details discussed with the individual or entity making the proposal.
