The City of Red Lake Falls has two beautiful campgrounds to choose from.
All Riverside Park & Sportsman's Park camping guests are required to make a reservation through Campspot.

Riverside Park is equipped with an enclosed tennis court, enclosed roller hockey court,
basketball courts, horseshoe courts, and a sand volleyball court and playground equipment.

Riverside Park overlooks the Clearwater River, one of the two rivers that flows through Red Lake Falls.
You might want to bring a fishing pole and try your luck!

Easy access to the paved trail at the east end of the park will lead you a scenic hike.

Sportsman's Park is great for campers who want to be a little further from town.

The park features primitive and full hook-up campsites, hiking trails and a boat landing.
Known as "The Point", it is where the Red Lake and Clearwater Rivers join,
which makes for a great spot for fishing, canoeing & kayaking!

This park also has trap shooting, rifle and archery ranges accessible with a membership.

 Terms & Conditions

City Park Rules & Regulations

Check In/Check Out
Check in is at 2 PM and entitles you to your site until 1 PM the day after check in. Early check in is not permitted. The guests who paid for the site the night before you has paid for their site until 1 PM. We will not as a guest to leave so that you can check in early. If you will be arriving in the area early, please make arrangements until your site opens up. We do not have a waiting area for those checking in early. Check out time is 1 PM. Late check-ins are allowed at any time.

Add On Tents
Only one tent is allowed to be set up or added to an RV site for an additional fee. Any additional tents must have and pay for their own site.

Number of Guests
The maximum number of overnight guests allowed per campsite is 6 people.

Site Changes
You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move please check with the office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please call the office before moving sites.

Restrooms
For the comfort of our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with the exception of a temporary closing for cleaning once per day. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean.

Trash Disposal
Please dispose of your trash in the  dumpster that is available near the picnic shelter in the park. Please do not dispose of any motor oil, cooking oil, wire, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic or hazardous waste items. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees. Recycling is available at two local locations within the city limits.

Children
Children under 18 must always be supervised by an adult.

Severe Weather
In case of severe weather, seek shelter in the bathrooms.

Quiet Time Policies
Quiet time is 10 PM to 7 AM. Anyone playing loud music will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund.

Offensive Conduct
No person in a park shall willfully perform any offensive, noisy or disagreeable act, engage in loud or boisterous conduct, or operate a vehicle in any manner which will interfere with the use or enjoyment of the park by other persons. No person shall play music through any portable electronic device, whether contained within a motor vehicle or otherwise, in such a manner as to reasonably arouse alarm, anger or resentment in others within the park area. No person in a park shall consume intoxicating or no intoxicating liquor after 10:00 p.m. or before 7:00 a.m. in any park.

Open Fires
Campfires must be contained in a fire ring. The park provides fire rings for our guest.  Firewood must be purchased locally or be MDA Certified if brought into our campground.

Parking
Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site and 1 vehicle per site. Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges.

Speed Limit
The park speed limit is 10 mph. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. Exceeding the speed limit will result in a warning, or ticket. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave without a refund. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.

Storage
Storage is not allowed under or around your RV or picnic table.

Site and Park Navigation
Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between other sites when navigating the park.

Washing
Washing RVs or vehicles is not permitted, as it can result in a mess and disturb your neighbors. There are two local car washing locations.

Electrical Use
You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in your RV. Amp usage over the AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay. We are not responsible for any electrical damages that occur due to power surges or not plugging into the proper AMP.

Fireworks
Fireworks are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibiting of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials and firecrackers. 

Firearms
Firearms are only permitted at Sportsman’s Park in the shooting range and you must be a member to use the range.
Memberships are available at Paradise Motel, Cenex, Mike’s Bottle Shop, Hardware Hank.

Safety & Emergencies
In case of an emergency call 911.
If you observe any activity you believe to be of a concern, call 218-253-2996 24 hours a day.

Pet Policies

Leash
We ask that you keep your pets on a leash at all times. 

Buildings
Pets are not allowed in the buildings. Absolutely no bathing animals in the bathhouse. Pleases do not tie your pet to our trees, doors or posts. Pets are also not allowed on our playground.

Cleaning Up After Your Pet
Be a good neighbor and please clean up after your pet. Do not let your pet deposit waste on any of our other guests’ sites. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave without a refund.

Leaving Pet Unattended
Pets may not be left unattended in our park.

Pet Vaccinations
All pets must be vaccinated to be in our park.

Barking
Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without a refund.

The County Sheriffs Department shall, in connection with their duties, diligently enforce the  provisions of this chapter. The Sheriffs Department shall have the authority to eject from the park any person acting in violation of this chapter. The Sheriffs Department shall also have the authority to size and confiscate any property, thing or device in any park used in violation of this chapter.  Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

 FAQ's

Can I just show up and set up camp without a reservation?
No, ALL reservations must be made online through Campspot
The ease and convenience of making a reservation online is to ensure you have a spot reserved for you and your friends or family.
It also ensures you are not setting up camp in a reserved spot.
Be advised, cell service can be spotty in our parks, so you will want to make your reservation before pulling into the campground!

Do campers have to accept the Terms & Conditions when making a reservation?
Yes, 
if you do not accept them at time of making the reservation, you will be sent an email to accept the Terms & Conditions. 
You can also log into Campspot with your user name & password to check in and accept the terms & conditions.
We recommend you do this before you get to the park, as cell service can be spotty in the parks.

Do I need to check in when I arrive?
Campers will check themselves in online.
You will receive an email from Campspot with a confirmation number and with terms & conditions that need to be accepted before setting up camp.

When I select my dates, the campsite I want does not show up as an option.
The site will not show any site as an option if it is already booked for the specific date range.

Check in & Check out times?
Check in is 2:00 pm
Check out  is 1:00 pm

How do I reserve one of the park shelters?
We do not take reservations for the shelters.
We recommend that you hang up a reserved sign with the date & time of your event in the shelter.
If you would like to call the city hall and let us know, we will mark it on our calendar in case anyone else calls to inquire about the availability.
We hope that everyone respects the process. 

Can I use the Shooting Range?
The shooting range is for members only.
You can purchase a membership at Paradise Falls, RLF Hardware, Red Lake County Insurance, Mike's Bottle Shop or Cenex.
The range is closed over holiday weekends.
