Recreation & Camping
Red Lake Falls has 3 miles of paved trails which are great for people of all ages. The trails are used for walking, hiking and biking in the summer months and cross country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter months. Another great place for winter fun is the hills located behind J.A. Hughes Elementary School. The hills provide a splendid place for sledding fun! If ice skating is your pleasure, try the ice arena located at the south side of the Riverside Park Complex.
There are many activities in the summer months to occupy your time. Many people enjoy golfing at Oak Knolls Golf Club. It is a nine hole golf course and is described as one of the toughest in northwestern Minnesota.
Another attraction is Voyageur's View, for an afternoon of tubing on the Red Lake River. If you don't enjoy tubing, another way to cool off in the hot summer months is to take a trip to the Red Lake Falls public pool.
Riverside Park is equipped with an enclosed tennis court, enclosed roller hockey court, basketball courts, horseshoe courts, and a sand volleyball court and playground equipment. Riverside Park overlooks the Clearwater River, one o f the two rivers that flow through Red Lake Falls. The park also has opportunities for camping.

Sportsman's Park is great for campers who want to be a little further from town. The park also has rifle and archery ranges, and links on to the maze of trails through Red Lake Falls. Another feature includes a boat landing. Known as The Point, it is where the Red Lake and Clearwater Rivers join, and a great spot for fishing, canoeing & kayaking!
